1.Three 10-week scientific field studies (two boats, one lighthouse)

–Boat operators: $3500
–Fuel: $10,000
–Communications: $500

2.Build safe whale watch awareness and support and promote informed, responsible ecotourism

-Educators and guest scientists (4): $5500
–Guide training and boat operator workshops: $5000
–20 workshops with local kids: $3,000
–Educational materials and guides (print and online): $2000
–Public education and outreach events: $500
Subtotal: $16,000

The Whales of Guerrero Research Project is designed to be a 5-year project. All funds received above the budget shown above are entirely dedicated to the ongoing success of the project.
